Due to the coronavirus pandemic, 54 million people may face hunger in the U.S. during 2020 — including a potential 18 million children. We partner with Feeding America, which is committed to getting nourishing food – from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers – to people most in need. At the same time, it seeks to help the people it serves to build a path to a brighter, food-secure future.

With an unprecedented amount of schools closed due to coronavirus, it’s expected that hundreds of thousands of students across the US will lose valuable learning time. In response to this urgent need to mitigate wide-scale learning loss, Save the Children and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry launched their #SAVEWITHSTORIES campaign to ensure kids can learn and get the nutrition they need. As the national leader in early childhood education, Save the Children will provide resources to kids whose schools are closed in some of rural America’s poorest communities.
